MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines is strengthening diplomatic and economic ties with New Zealand and Egypt by streamlining immigration processes and fostering more partnerships.

New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines Catherine McIntosh and Ahmed Hany Mohamed Zein Abdelrazik, consul and deputy head of mission of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, respectively, recently met with Immigration Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado to discuss the role of immigration in shaping international relations.
