CEBU CITY, Philippines – Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched a groundbreaking nonstop service connecting Cebu City and Guam, marking the first direct air link between Central Visayas and the strategic Western Pacific island.

The inaugural flight took off from Mactan-Cebu International Airport on December 16, ushering in a new era of connectivity for the region.

The launch ceremony was attended by dignitaries and key figures from PAL, Aboitiz InfraCapital, GMCAC, the Mactan-Cebu International Airport Authority (MCIAA), the Department of Tourism (DOT), and various travel industry stakeholders, underscoring the significance of this new route.

The Cebu-Guam flights operate three times a week, departing from Mactan-Cebu International Airport every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:40 PM and arriving in Guam at 3:25 AM local time.

The return flights from Guam to Cebu are scheduled for every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, departing at 5:15 AM and arriving at 6:50 AM.

“This new route strengthens our commitment to expanding connectivity and providing seamless travel options for our passengers,” stated a PAL representative during the launch.

Utilizing the Airbus A321ceo aircraft, PAL’s Cebu-Guam service complements its existing daily flights between Manila and Guam, offering travelers greater flexibility and convenience.

For flight reservations and further information, travelers are encouraged to visit www.philippineairlines.com, contact the PAL Hotline at (+632) 8855-8888, utilize the PAL mobile app, or connect with their preferred ticketing offices or travel agents.

This new service is poised to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the Philippines and Guam, further solidifying PAL’s position as a leading carrier in the region.
