SINGAPORE – Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ dominant airline, has been crowned Asia’s Low-Cost Airline of the Year by the esteemed Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA), a leading voice in global aviation analysis.

The prestigious award recognizes CEB’s exceptional business performance and unwavering commitment to democratizing air travel.

CAPA’s annual accolades celebrate airlines demonstrating superior strategic leadership, groundbreaking innovation, and a lasting positive impact on the industry.

Cebu Pacific distinguished itself through remarkable passenger growth and robust financial results.

Between January and September 2025, the airline transported nearly 20 million passengers, a significant 13.9% increase from the 17.5 million carried in the same period of 2024.

Domestic passenger numbers surged by 12.7% to 14.9 million, while international traffic jumped 17.7% to 5.1 million.

The airline maintained a strong average seat load factor of 84.8%, with overall seat capacity increasing by 14% to 23.5 million.
