PASAY CITY, Philippines – The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has passed the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification External Audit, underscoring its commitment to strengthening organizational excellence and elevating service quality.

The achievement is aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directives on good service.

Following a comprehensive assessment of MIAA’s management systems and processes by Certification Partner Global (CPG) Inc. in November 2025, the certification validates the agency’s resilience and dedication to quality, efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement.

The passing of its management system is a testament to the collective dedication of MIAA officers and employees, supported by top management and its ISO consultant.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and teamwork of the entire MIAA family. Passing the ISO 9001:2015 certification reinforces our commitment to continuous improvement and to strengthening our regulatory oversight,” said MIAA General Manager Eric Jose Ines.

The ISO 9001:2015 QMS Certificate was formally conferred by CPG Inc. General Manager Melanie Olbita and MIAA’s ISO consultant Kenneth Benedicto during MIAA’s February flag-raising ceremony.

The ceremony also recognized members of the Airport Police Department for their swift action and diligence in addressing incidents within the airport complex, including thwarting bribery, enforcing regulations, and preventing theft.

MIAA reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the standards achieved under the ISO 9001:2015 certification, further enhancing its management systems in accordance with international best practices.
