MANILA, Philippines  – As the Holy Week peak travel season approaches, Cebu Pacific (CEB) has issued a comprehensive advisory, urging passengers to prepare for significant changes and potential delays.

The airline emphasizes punctuality, new terminal assignments, and strict baggage policies to ensure a smoother journey amidst anticipated heavy passenger traffic.

Key Mandates for Travelers

Effective March 29, 2026, all DG (Cebgo) and T6 (AirSWIFT) flights previously operating at NAIA Terminal 2 will permanently transfer to Clark International Airport.

Passengers flying these carriers must verify their terminal assignments, particularly those with 5J flights (Cebu Pacific’s larger commercial jets), which will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 3.

To combat expected congestion, CEB advises passengers to arrive at the airport at least three (3) hours before domestic flights and four (4) hours before international flights.

Check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and one hour for international flights.

Streamlined Travel: Online Check-in and eTravel Forms

Travelers can bypass long queues by utilizing CEB’s mobile app or website for online check-in, available from 48 hours up to one hour before domestic flights, and up to two hours for international flights.

Domestic passengers without checked baggage can proceed directly to boarding gates after online check-in.

International travelers are reminded to complete or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours of departure and arrival, saving the generated QR code. A separate Customs Declaration Form is also required.

Strict Baggage and Device Policies

CEB reiterates its baggage policy: one carry-on and one personal item, with a combined weight of 7 kg or less. Overweight or oversized bags will incur gate charges.

Passengers are strongly encouraged to purchase prepaid baggage online, which is up to four times cheaper than airport rates.

Portable electronic devices (PEDs) and power banks (up to 100 Wh, with special approval for 100-160 Wh) must be carried in hand luggage. Using or charging power banks is strictly prohibited during flights.

Finally, passengers departing from select domestic destinations (including Bacolod, Butuan, Manila, Davao, etc.) are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage at designated airport kiosks before proceeding to bag drops.

Cebu Pacific urges all passengers to update their contact details via the Manage Booking portal to receive crucial flight reminders and updates.
