MANILA, Philippines – In a powerful display of empathy, The Entertainment Arts & Media (TEAM) recently concluded its 5th annual outreach at Child Haus, an event that transcended simple gift-giving to become a profound reminder of the enduring power of human connection. This year’s project, held on May 14, 2026, marked the fourth consecutive year TEAM has partnered with Child Haus, a testament to their commitment to children battling cancer.

Child Haus, founded by philanthropist Ricky Reyes, offers a temporary sanctuary for pediatric cancer patients from the provinces undergoing treatment in Metro Manila. It is more than just a shelter; it is a community infused with compassion, courage, and hope. TEAM’s advocacy began in 2023, and their sustained efforts have consistently provided crucial support. Last year alone, proceeds from their Music Museum concert enabled significant contributions to Child Haus.

Amid an atmosphere of shared laughter, generous gifts, and delicious food, a moment of poignant beauty left a lasting impression. The children of Child Haus, despite their health journeys, presented a touching song to TEAM members and sponsors. This heartfelt performance, coupled with handwritten notes of gratitude personally delivered by the young patients, brought many to tears. The sincerity and resilience in their simple words were deeply moving.

“There was an ache in our hearts as we watched them,” shared a TEAM officer. “Despite their pain, they still managed to smile, sing, and express their thanks. It truly underscored the impact of every small act of assistance.”

The event was hosted by Anne Venancio and Wendell Alvarez, with TEAM Vice President Obette Serrano leading the opening prayer. TEAM President Noel Orsal conveyed gratitude to all who support their advocacy. Performances by Jam Leviste, Don Kengkz, and Cerise Limueco further brightened the day for the children and their guardians.
