MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is boosting connectivity between the Philippines and the United States Pacific Northwest, with an increase in service between Manila and Seattle from three to five weekly flights, effective Nov. 25, 2025.

The expansion, coming just a year after the route’s successful launch in October 2024, underscores the growing popularity of PAL’s non-stop service, the only direct air link between the Philippines and Seattle.

The added flights, departing Manila and Seattle on Tuesdays and Thursdays, provide travelers with greater flexibility and convenience when planning their journeys.

The enhanced schedule offers seamless connections to PAL’s extensive network throughout the Philippines, Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Greater China.

Furthermore, passengers can easily access numerous U.S. destinations through PAL’s partnership with Alaska Airlines.

“Our decision to increase frequencies to Seattle highlights the importance of the U.S. market to the Philippine Airlines global network,” said PAL President Richard Nuttall.

“Seattle serves as a vital gateway, not only to Washington and Oregon but also to cities across the United States, thanks to our ongoing partnership with Alaska Airlines,” Nuttall added.

The Alaska Airlines hub at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, recognized as the largest airline hub on the U.S. West Coast, further enhances the connectivity offered through the partnership.

Loyal customers of both airlines benefit from a frequent flyer program that expands travel opportunities.

PAL’s expansion is strategically aimed at meeting the increasing travel demand between the U.S. West Coast and the Philippines, supporting both business and leisure travel.

The move represents a long-term investment by PAL in developing travel flows between the two countries.

With the addition of the flights to Seattle, PAL now serves eight destinations in the U.S. and Canada, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Honolulu, and Guam.

Beyond passenger travel, the increased frequency also boosts cargo capacity, adding up to 40 tons per week between Manila and Seattle.

This extra uplift connects to various states through interline airline and trucking partnerships, further facilitating growing trade between the U.S. and the Philippines.

PAL utilizes Boeing 777-300ER long-range jetliners for the Seattle service, accommodating 370 passengers with 42 seats in business class and 328 in economy class.

The Manila-Seattle-Manila flight schedule is as follows:

  • PR124 Manila – Seattle (Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sun)
  • Departs Manila – 2240H  Arrives in Seattle – 1935H (or 1835H during daylight savings)
