MANILA, Philippines – Cebu Pacific, the country’s leading airline, is increasing its flight frequencies to popular destinations, including Bangkok, Da Nang, Melbourne, and Sapporo.

The move aims to meet rising travel demand and further connect the Philippines to the global stage.

Effective Oct. 26, flights between Cebu and Bangkok (Don Mueang), Thailand, will increase to four times weekly.

The Manila-Da Nang route will see a significant boost starting Oct. 28, expanding to 10 flights weekly, with double daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Travelers looking to experience the winter wonderland of Sapporo, Japan, can rejoice as Manila-Sapporo flights will operate daily starting Dec. 10 and running through Feb. 27, 2026.

Additionally, flights between Manila and Melbourne, Australia, will increase to five times weekly beginning Dec. 12.

“These additional frequencies reflect Cebu Pacific’s ongoing commitment to provide more accessibility, flexibility, and convenience to our valued passengers,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.

“As travel demand continues to rise, these expanded services allow us to better connect Filipinos to the rest of the world and welcome more visitors to the Philippines.

Beyond convenience, this increased connectivity also plays a key role in stimulating tourism, enabling business opportunities, and strengthening economic ties with our neighbors in the Asia-Pacific region,” Lao said.

Cebu Pacific pioneered direct flights between Manila and Da Nang, Vietnam, in December 2023, offering a more accessible route to the Vietnamese city known for its resorts, architecture, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Cebu-Bangkok (Don Mueang) route, launched in October 2024, expands connectivity from Cebu, allowing travelers to easily explore Thailand’s cultural and culinary offerings.

Manila-Sapporo flights, a popular route since its January launch, provide access to Hokkaido’s winter activities and natural beauty.

This year marks Cebu Pacific’s seventh year operating in Melbourne, Australia, a popular destination for Filipinos visiting family and friends, and known for its diverse culture and events.

Passengers can book flights through the Cebu Pacific website (www.cebupacificair.com) or the Cebu Pacific app, utilizing various payment options.

Cebu Pacific operates across 37 domestic and 26 international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates.
