BRISBANE, Australia – An Australian social media influencer, identified as Ronan Androgenic, 25, was removed from a Jetstar flight departing Thailand on May 27 due to concerns for his fitness to travel following recent cosmetic procedures.

Androgenic, a Brisbane-based online streamer, was reportedly exhibiting visible swelling, drowsiness, and difficulty communicating with cabin crew shortly after boarding the Australia-bound aircraft.

Androgenic had recently undergone multiple cosmetic surgeries in Thailand, including claimed waist liposuction and buccal fat removal. Just four days prior to the flight, he had posted a video indicating he required assistance to move and a walking frame to reach the bathroom.

Footage from onboard the aircraft captured a male flight attendant explaining, “Sir, your communication is not good, and you’re not communicating with us clearly.” Cabin crew also referenced his recent surgeries, questioning his suitability for air travel. A female flight attendant described him as “too tired” and “very drowsy,” highlighting “visible swelling around his face and eyes,” with one attendant remarking, “Your face is very ill.”

Androgenic asserted he had received medical clearance to travel two days after his procedures, claiming they were non-invasive. However, airline staff clarified that medical approval does not automatically guarantee permission to board a flight.

The situation escalated when Androgenic became increasingly agitated and used expletives after being informed he would need to disembark. Airline employees deemed his conduct disruptive to other passengers. Androgenic was heard stating, “Bro, what? What the f**k do you expect me to do? I need to go home. This is f***ing pathetic. You guys actually could have just f***ing let me lie in my f***ing chair and go to sleep.” He later accused the airline of “imprisoning me in a foreign country” and verbally attacked flight attendants.

Jetstar confirmed it reviewed the incident, affirming that its employees acted appropriately and respectfully. The airline reiterated its commitment to passenger safety and emphasized that cabin crews are trained to assess a traveler’s fitness to fly.

This incident follows Androgenic’s arrest in Brisbane in late April on a public nuisance charge. Queensland Police issued him an infringement notice and a one-month banning order from specific nightlife precincts after a viral video allegedly showed him pushing an older woman to the ground.

No further updates have been released regarding the airline incident or Androgenic’s subsequent travel arrangements.
