Cebu Pacific Celebrates 25 Years of Service, Honors Outstanding OFWs

MANILA, Philippines – Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) commemorated 25 years of dedicated service to Hong Kong by recognizing five exceptional Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) whose contributions have significantly enriched the Filipino community abroad.

The airline presented the prestigious CEB Values Awards during the Philippine Tourism Festival, hosted by the esteemed OFW group Philippine Alliance. These awards celebrated individuals who embody Cebu Pacific’s core values: Trust, Integrity, Courage, Service, and the quintessential Filipino spirit.

“Hong Kong has been a cornerstone of Cebu Pacific’s international network for a quarter-century. More importantly, it has been a second home to generations of OFWs whose tireless dedication and remarkable work ethic consistently inspire us,” stated Candice Iyog, CEB Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer. “Through the CEB Values Awards, we honor those who exemplify the very values we strive to uphold as an airline.”

This marked the second iteration of these impactful awards in Hong Kong. Each distinguished recipient received a complimentary round-trip international ticket, including a 20 kg baggage allowance. Additionally, three more round-trip international tickets were raffled among OFWs attending the festival, providing more overseas Filipinos the opportunity to reconnect with family or explore Cebu Pacific’s extensive international network.

Hong Kong has been a vital component of CEB’s network since 2001 and remains a key international destination, serving not only OFWs but also a growing segment of leisure and business travelers.
