This historic achievement underscores the nation’s unparalleled underwater allure and consistent excellence in dive tourism.

In addition to its dominance in diving, the Philippines celebrated six major accolades at the ceremony, showcasing the diverse appeal of its travel offerings. The country was also crowned Asia’s Leading Beach Destination 2026 for the ninth time and Asia’s Leading Island Destination 2026 for the third consecutive year, highlighting its pristine coastlines and captivating archipelagos.

This involves enhancing access and logistics to our dive sites and intensifying promotional campaigns to showcase our exceptional marine and natural assets. Simultaneously, we will prioritize safety and security for all travelers while investing in the training and education of our tourism frontliners in dive and beach destinations. Our goal is to make diving and other water-based activities safer, more accessible, and seamless for travelers, supported by efficient services and better-connected destinations.”
