PARAÑAQUE CITY, Philippines – Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ premier carrier, has inaugurated its advanced training facility for pilots and cabin crew, signaling a robust commitment to enhancing the nation’s aviation capabilities and operational excellence. The Cebu Pacific Training Academy stands as a pivotal investment in the future of Philippine aviation.

This purpose-built, centralized facility in Parañaque City marks a significant leap in aviation education, offering immersive, hands-on training for aspiring professionals. Spanning 1,685 square meters, the Academy features Airbus A330 and ATR door trainers, realistic cabin mock-ups, and slide trainers. Equipped classrooms and specialized equipment rooms facilitate scenario-based, practical training delivered by the airline’s expert instructors.

The inauguration was led by CEB Chairman Lance Gokongwei, Chief Operations Officer Javier Massot, and Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Director General Ret. Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario.

“The Cebu Pacific Training Academy underscores our strong dedication to the Philippines and its aviation industry,” stated Javier Massot. “This facility empowers us to prioritize operational excellence, consistent service, and nation-building. It will meaningfully elevate aviation training standards in the Philippines, cultivating a generation of highly capable and future-ready aviation professionals.”

Further supporting industry growth, CEB revitalized its Cadet Pilot Program in 2024, in collaboration with Cebu-based Airworks Aviation. This program offers aspiring pilots comprehensive training, structured mentorship, and a direct path to employment with Cebu Pacific, having already graduated its second cohort of pilots by April 2026.

Concurrently, Cebu Pacific continues nationwide recruitment for cabin crew, focusing on developing a well-trained, service-oriented team to support its expanding operations.

The airline currently boasts the Philippines’ most extensive network, serving 35 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
