MANILA, Philippines – Philippine Airlines (PAL) is set to make the pristine beauty of Palau more accessible than ever with new direct flights between Manila and Koror, Palau, starting March 29, 2026.

The twice-weekly service will connect travelers to the Micronesian island nation’s renowned dive sites, crystal-clear lagoons, and thriving coral reefs, solidifying PAL’s presence in the Pacific region.

The new route promises seamless connectivity from major Asian and select Philippine cities through PAL’s Manila hub, opening up a world of underwater wonders to a wider audience.

“Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community,” said Richard Nuttall, PAL President.

“Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines’ renowned Filipino heartfelt care.”

Palau, with Koror as its gateway, is celebrated for its unparalleled marine biodiversity and offers a captivating escape for diving enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

The introduction of the route underscores PAL’s commitment to expanding its network to destinations that offer unique experiences and contribute to tourism growth.

To celebrate the launch, PAL is offering special introductory fares, available until Dec. 18, starting at US$499 roundtrip economy base fare and US$1,239 roundtrip business class base fare for travel beginning March 29, 2026, and beyond.

Flights from Manila will depart every Wednesday and Sunday at 10:15 p.m., arriving in Koror at 2 a.m. local time.

Return flights from Koror to Manila are scheduled for Mondays and Thursdays, departing at 3:10 a.m. local time and landing in Manila at 4:55 a.m.

Passengers can expect a comfortable and convenient journey aboard PAL’s modern 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo.

The new service complements PAL’s existing Western Pacific route to Guam, further enhancing travel opportunities for both leisure and business travelers throughout the region and positioning Palau as a must-visit destination for those seeking an unforgettable tropical escape.
