Florece Is Top Graduate in Abu Dhabi Police Exchange Program

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Police Maj. Inar Vic Florece of the Philippine National Police (PNP) has emerged as the top graduate of the prestigious International Police Exchange Program at the Abu Dhabi Police College, a testament to the rising caliber of Filipino law enforcement on the global stage.

Outperforming 51 other officers from 35 nations, Florece’s achievement underscores his exceptional skills in advanced police science and modern leadership principles.

The rigorous five-month program, a collaborative initiative between the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Interior and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, is designed to foster enhanced international cooperation in addressing complex global security challenges.

The curriculum delves into cutting-edge policing strategies, technological advancements, and leadership development, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of modern crime.

Florece’s success reflects his individual capabilities and dedication to duty while highlighting the quality of training and leadership within the PNP.

His accomplishment brings pride to the Philippines and reinforces the nation’s commitment to contributing to global security efforts.

The culmination of the program was marked by a graduation ceremony on Jan. 29, attended by prominent UAE government officials, including His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Lt. Gen. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.

The program confers a Level 4 Post-Secondary Qualification in Advanced Police Science from the Security Qualification Center of the UAE-MOI. 

Philippine Ambassador to the UAE, Alfonso Ver, lauded Florece for his exceptional performance and for representing the Philippines with distinction.

Hailing from the municipality of Lagonoy in Camarines Sur, Florece’s accomplishment serves as an inspiration to aspiring law enforcement officers in his hometown and across the nation.

His success in the International Police Exchange Program demonstrates the potential for Filipino law enforcement officers to excel on the world stage and contribute to the global fight against crime.

The knowledge and experience gained during the program will enhance his capabilities and improve policing strategies in Camarines Sur, ultimately benefiting the communities he serves.
