Cebu Pacific: Essential Undas Travel Guide – Navigate Peak Season Seamlessly

MANILA, Philippines – As the Undas holiday approaches, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is dedicated to ensuring a safe, efficient, and enjoyable journey for all passengers. To optimize your travel experience during this peak season, please adhere to these critical guidelines:

1. Strategic Airport Arrival:

Anticipate increased traffic congestion. Arrive at the airport a minimum of three (3) hours prior to domestic departures and four (4) hours prior to international departures. Check-in counters strictly close 45 minutes before domestic and one (1) hour before international scheduled departures to facilitate all pre-flight protocols. Post-check-in, proceed immediately to immigration and security to prevent delays. Boarding commences 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.

2. Expedited Online Check-in:

Bypass airport queues by utilizing the official CEB mobile app or the “Manage Booking” section on the CEB website. Online check-in is available from 48 hours up to one (1) hour before domestic and two (2) hours before international scheduled departures. Domestic passengers without checked baggage can proceed directly to boarding gates after online check-in. For those with baggage, CEB’s dedicated bag drop counters at NAIA Terminal 3 (Aisles A and B) and self-service kiosks ensure efficient processing. Have your boarding pass readily accessible.

3. Optimize Your Baggage Strategy:

Effective September 15, 2026, CEB (5J) flights permit a total hand carry allowance of 10kg, while Cebgo (DG) flights maintain a 7kg limit. Hand carry items are restricted to two (2) pieces: one (1) overhead bin item (max. H: 56cm x L: 36cm x W: 23cm) and one (1) personal item (max. H: 20cm x L: 35cm x W: 20cm) for under-seat stowage. Items exceeding these limits must be checked, incurring applicable fees. For convenience and savings, pre-purchase checked baggage allowance or add supplementary weight (up to three (3) pieces of 20kg, with optional 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg increments) via MyCebuPacific’s “Manage Booking” portal up to two (2) hours before departure.

4. Streamline International Immigration with eTravel:

For swift immigration processing, international travelers must complete or update their eTravel forms within 72 hours (3 days) before both departure from and arrival in the Philippines. Generate and save your QR code. Roundtrip international passengers require separate eTravel forms for each leg. After generating the eTravel QR code, complete the Customs Declaration Form prior to arrival. Retain your eTravel QR code for customs scanning after baggage claim. Access eTravel via the eGovPH app or www.etravel.gov.ph. For specific international destination requirements, consult: help.cebupacificair.com/articles/flying-out-soon#travel-guides.

5. Adhere to Electronic Device and Power Bank Regulations:

Portable Electronic Devices (PEDs) such as phones, laptops, and tablets must be in your hand carry baggage only for safety and security. Power banks are permitted in hand carry up to 100Wh capacity. Per updated IATA guidelines, power banks exceeding 100Wh are strictly prohibited. Stow power banks in your pocket or the seat pocket in front of you; never in overhead bins or under seats. Using or charging power banks during flight is strictly forbidden.

6. Domestic Self-Tagging for Efficiency:

Passengers departing from select domestic destinations (Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Caticlan, Cauayan, Clark, Coron, Davao, El Nido, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Manila, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga) are required to self-tag their checked baggage at designated kiosks before proceeding to bag drop counters. Self-bag drop kiosks are also available at NAIA Terminal 3 and Clark International Airport.

Crucial Reminder:

Ensure your contact details are updated via the “Manage Booking” portal to receive vital flight reminders and updates.
