MANILA, Philippines – Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ leading airline, has solidified its position as Asia’s foremost operator of the Airbus A330neo with the arrival of its 13th aircraft of the type.

The fuel-efficient widebody jet, delivered directly from Airbus’ Toulouse, France facility, marks another strategic investment in the airline’s network expansion and commitment to affordable travel.

The 459-seat A330neo is the third of four scheduled for delivery this year, following arrivals in March and July, demonstrating Cebu Pacific’s aggressive fleet modernization plan.

The airline plans to deploy the aircraft on key domestic routes starting in November, offering four weekly flights between Manila and Puerto Princesa from Nov. 2, and daily service between Manila and Bohol beginning Nov. 16.

“Operating the largest A330neo fleet in Asia underscores our dedication to expanding connectivity throughout the region,” said Xander Lao, CEB president and chief commercial officer.

“This aircraft allows us to serve more passengers while maintaining competitive fares, a cornerstone of our mission to democratize air travel for every Filipino.”

The A330neo’s extended range and increased capacity provide Cebu Pacific with enhanced operational flexibility, enabling efficient service on both regional and long-haul routes.

This optimization translates to significant cost savings for the airline.

Beyond its economic advantages, the A330neo offers substantial environmental benefits.

The next-generation aircraft boasts a 15-percent reduction in fuel consumption per flight and a significantly lower noise footprint compared to older models.

This commitment to sustainable aviation practices aligns with Cebu Pacific’s broader efforts to minimize its carbon emissions.

The arrival of the 13th A330neo marks a significant step in Cebu Pacific’s ongoing efforts to modernize its fleet, expand its network, and provide affordable and sustainable air travel options for Filipinos and travelers across Asia.
